Research and Development

United Water’s world-class Research and Development team continues to break new ground across more than 15 major projects. Our research program is based on local conditions and issues, and many projects are conducted in collaboration with key users at the local level. An example is our Aquifer Storage Transfer and Recovery (ASTR) project, conducted in conjunction with the City of Salisbury, CSIRO Land and Water, Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation, SA Water and the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Natural Resources Management Board. This, like many of our projects, has attracted international attention for its significance in developing solutions for sustainable water supplies.
